The Edinburgh and Golf Coast Tour is a captivating journey that combines the allure of Scotland's capital city with the stunning coastal golf courses in the region. Day One: Upon arriving l at the airport, guests will make their way to the luxurious and world-renowned Balmoral hotel, where they will spend the first few nights of their stay.
Day Two: Guests will awake at the Balmoral hotel and travel to the esteemed Royal Burgess golf course, considered by many to be the oldest golf club in the world. There, they will enjoy a round of golf before making their way back to the hotel. In the evening, a delightful and exclusive whisky cocktail session awaits at the Voodoo Rooms, one of Edinburgh’s most celebrated venues, where guests can unwind and enjoy Edinburgh's nightlife.
Day Three: The tour continues from the Balmoral hotel where, in the morning, guests will travel to the historic and unforgettable town of St Andrews. There, they will have the privilege of playing a round at the St Andrews New Course, a classic Scottish links course and the oldest “New Course” in the world. After their game, guests will return to the Balmoral hotel. In the evening, they will have the opportunity to relish an interactive whisky tasting session at the Johnnie Walker Princes Street, diving headfirst into the history behind one of the world’s most famed brands.
Day Four: Day four sees guests enjoy a day off from golf and is dedicated to exploring the vibrant city of Edinburgh. Guests will have the freedom to explore the city's fascinating landmarks, shops, and cultural attractions during the day. In the evening, a whisky tasting session at the renowned Scotch Whisky Experience will provide an immersive journey into Scotland's whisky heritage. The SWE has an incredibly wide range of packages available to patrons based on budget, group size and overall preference, so interchangeability at the discretion of guests is no issue whatsoever. Guests will, on this evening, stay in the Balmoral for the final time.
Day Five: Guests will start the day by making their way from the Balmoral hotel to the picturesque Glen East golf course, an utterly thrilling course demonstrating just how enjoyable links golf can be, with stunning views of the nearby Bass Rock to boot. After their round, guests will travel to the nearby Marine Hotel in North Berwick, where they will spend the night in style.
Day Six: On the final full day of their trip, the tour continues with a round at the closely situated North Berwick golf course, famous the world over not just for its enthralling links experience but also because it offers near-unrivalled coastal views; this is a course likely to charm anyone lucky enough to play it. Following the final round of the tour, guests will travel to Glenkinchie distillery for a memorable whisky experience before returning to the Marine Hotel to round off their trip.
Day Seven: After awaking in North Berwick at the Marine Hotel, guests will travel to the airport or destination of their choice as the Edinburgh and Golf Coast Tour draws to a close.
