St Andrews New Course

The New Course at St Andrews is one of seven golf courses in the town of St Andrews, Fife, Scotland. The course was opened in 1895, making it one of the oldest golf courses in St Andrews. The course is located adjacent to the Old Course and offers its visitors a challenging yet rewarding experience.

The New Course at St Andrews was designed by legendary golf architect, Tom Morris, who also had a hand in designing the Old Course. The course features a traditional parkland-style layout, with tree-lined fairways and challenging greens.

The New Course is often overlooked by visitors to St Andrews in favour of the more famous Old Course, but it is a fantastic course in its own right. The course has plenty of challenging holes that will test golfers of all levels.

The course is open to visitors all year round, and tee times can be booked in advance. The course has excellent facilities, including a driving range, practice putting greens, and a clubhouse with a bar and restaurant.

In addition to its challenging layout, the New Course also offers stunning views of the town of St Andrews and the surrounding Scottish countryside. The course is relatively flat and easy to walk, making it a popular choice for visitors who prefer to walk the course rather than taking a golf cart.
